Volunteering with us

Our Volunteers Make What We Do Possible

Whether helping our students while they are in the UK, doing essential admin work in the office or working directly with young people at a service, our volunteers make a huge difference to our student’s lives.

To become a volunteer, all you need is enthusiasm and a desire to help. You can choose how much time you give, and we’ll give you all the training and support you need. We welcome people from all nationalities and backgrounds. Our volunteers include jobseekers, retired workers, full-time workers, students and schoolchildren.

Whoever you are and however you choose to volunteer, you’ll be part of a supportive community coming together to transform our students’ lives.

Benefits of Volunteering With Us

It’s incredibly rewarding knowing that your work can make such a big difference to students’ lives. In return, voluntary work can help you to develop important skills and improve your CV while you help others. You’ll also:

  • learn useful skills
  • gain valuable work experience
  • increase your confidence
  • learn to solve problems
  • meet new people
  • support our students community
  • share your knowledge
  • make a real difference

You’ll share the laughter and anxieties of the children and young people you are working with. You’ll feel their pain and their joy. And you’ll see the evidence of your work as they reach out and take a firmer grip on the world.

We’re With You All the Way

We provide training for most of our volunteering roles, and promote a helpful attitude among service staff, which makes volunteering a satisfying experience all round.
