General English
Overview
KSC’s General English course uses market-leading course materials to provide you with engaging, interactive lessons. Your teacher will make use of a variety of resources, including well-known course books and online study platforms, to deliver a consistent and structured learning experience. This course will prepare you for using English in real-life situations outside of the classroom, and aims to improve your daily communication skills by introducing a range of interesting and relevant topics with each new unit.

Focus
General Language English classes are an opportunity for you to improve not only your speaking skills, but also to practice reading, writing, and listening. Each lesson consists of a mix of grammar, vocabulary, and communicative activities to keep the class lively and interesting.
Basic 20 Lessons
From £250 per week
This course is made up of 20 lessons per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study at a steady pace (Morning classes only)
Standard 25 Lessons
From £300 per week
This semi-intensive course is made up of 25 lessons per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want a combination of morning and mid-day classes.
Intensive 25 Lessons
From £350 per week
This intensive course is made up of 30 lessons per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study full-time i.e. Monday – Friday (Morning & Afternoon classes)
Business English
Overview
Business English is aimed at students who want to add a more specific focus to their language learning. If you already know you need English for a professional environment, or are thinking about entering into an international workplace, this KSC course gives you the edge that you need in a 21st century business world. Using specialised course materials, your teacher will guide you to not only improve your English level, but also to develop vocabulary, skills, and knowledge relevant to the modern workplace. Business English classes give students maximum opportunity to develop their language skills through specific, business-related scenarios such as negotiations, presentations, and live communication, either online or over the phone. This allows participants to put their existing knowledge into practice while building on new vocabulary and structures that will help them in the workplace.

Students who supplement their core course with 1-1 lessons, benefit from the undivided attention of their teacher, who will make sure classes are structured to suit their student’s needs. Not only does this increase the language input you receive in class, but you can also focus on what’s important to you and study at your own pace. Many students enjoy the freedom this brings, as private lessons can be very flexible.

Before you begin a private course, your teacher will ask you to complete a detailed needs analysis. This is intended to give a full picture of what you hope to achieve with 1-1 lessons, so that your teacher can plan and structure the classes accordingly. For example, if you are studying business English but would also like to improve your general conversation skills, private lessons are a great choice.
